Merrick Log Homes is a premier "D" Log Home builder.  We are located in the Mat-Su Valley of Alaska.

Our home designs are fashioned with fully milled, 3-sided spruce logs purchased from both Alaskan and Canadian suppliers.  This is the material we rely upon for the majority of our homes, remote cabins and garages.

All of our plans are custom designed and we work hand-in-hand with our customers to determine their personal preferences.  This allows us to address each and every detail you might want to see incorporated into your design.

The "D" logs are made with an integrated drip edge on the outside and a tongue and groove locking system on the top and bottom.  This helps assure proper alignment of all phases of the log installation.  The inside of the logs have a one-half inch, 45 degree bevel cut for chinking the inside.  The smooth indoor surface facilitates easy dusting and maintenance and offers a warm and inviting living environment.
