Merrick Log
Homes offers
complete design
services ranging
from a complete
set of plans to
consulting for
owner produced
plans. Log
buildings are
not the same as
stick framed
buildings and
very often a
nice stick frame
plan ends up
very different
from original by
the time all of
the changes to
the logs have
been made.
Conversely, some
plans are very
easy to build
when making the
conversion to
the log.
This is a major
reason why
Merrick Log
Homes strongly
urge home owners
to consult with
a log home
contractor
during the
planning stage
of any larger
sized dwelling.
